 So another year starts.... 

I started thinking of my new word for 2026.  As you might know, if you visit my rarely used blog, I don't do new year's resolutions, but try and find a word to inspire me throughout the year.

One thing I have consistently struggled with is maintaining balance.  I can get very fixated on a thing, and all other responsibilities get put aside.

So I want to try to balance my work, exercise and hobbies better....

No celebrating New Year's this year,  just a quiet night in, remembering to not take for granted our time together.

2023.....

 Our birthday season is over.....

Family wise from November to mid-January is incredibly busy!  Now that my birthday is done I can re-group and think about starting the new year!

My word for this year is.....

I feel like everything just got away from me last year..... So the first step was to add another member to Mystical DT to myself a break from scrapping deadlines for a bit.

This week's task is to finish clearing away Christmas!

Believe in my son...

This year my son entered into year 11, and he had decided that he would like to study engineering in some form... So it's going to mean a radical change in lifestyle for him... Actually do some study, be organized!

I need to believe he can do this.

Believe in myself...

I've added a new DT member to Mystical so I can step back from scrapping on a timetable so much, I want to concentrate on running classes and the shop
